The objective of our agriculture programs is to offer Zambians more resilient means of achieving an adequate livelihood. A year-round source of nutrition allows the bodies and brains of children to develop healthily, while year-round sources of significant income (that do not depend on erratic and unpredictable rains) allow Zambians to afford school fees, healthcare, and self-investment. We’ve discovered that many Zambians want to diversify their agriculture practices; they simply don’t have access to the necessary knowledge, capital, or markets. This is where our agriculture programs come in.
